Update:

All the ground coffee we need has been donated by a local company and a local church in Fort Wayne just down the road from Community Harvest has agreed to let us use their brewing equipment. This is huge!!

We’re working on getting all the cups & coffee condiments donated as well. We’ll make sure we have these on Saturday.

With coffee covered, we want you to bring some baked goods, donuts, cookies, or any of your favorite breakfast items that you would like to share as well. Feel free to bake and bring any quantity you feel like, just bring it from the heart.

Mission Directions:

We will all be meeting at Fellowship Missionary Church(Click for Google Map w/address) before going to Community Harvest Food Bank in order to get organized and briefed on what the game plan will be once we get there. We will be meeting just inside of the main entrance in the Atrium.

7:30am - Coffee prep team meets - If you’d like to help with the production of coffee, be there by this time.

7:45am - Everyone Meets - Be at the church at 7:45am on Saturday morning to get organized. We’ll talk about the mission and make sure everyone knows what’s going on.

8:00am - We’ll head to the Food Bank

What Should You Bring:

Your role is to show up eager to pass out some coffee to some folks waiting in line and to share a warm smile and a conversation.

Breakfast items if you want

If you have a coffee air pot, bring it and use it. We can fill it up with coffee from the big carafes and you can use it to serve.

If you have a serving tray to carry full cups of coffee around, bring that.

Your kids if you feel comfortable doing so and having them help you out. Naturally, you’ll be expected to monitor them and get them participating.

If you would like to help with the coffee or running the filling station once we get to the food bank, please let us know. Other than that, you’ll be passing out coffee and smiles.
